Iran short film ‘Alan’ goes on screen at 9filmfest

Iran short film Alan has been scheduled to go on screen at the 5th edition of 9Filmfest in Thailand.

Directed by Mostafa Gandomkar, the short film has so far succeeded to attend a number of international film festivals including the 11th Jahorina International Film Festival in Bosnia Herzegovina, the 14th Salento International Film Festival in Italy, the 17th Lille International Film Festival in France, the 9th Dhuk International Film Festival  in Iraq,  and the 6th Bangalore Short Film Festival in India.

‘Alan’ is a short film about a Kurdish man in Syria who has lost his home and family during ISIS attacks.

The 9FilmFest receives films from around the world to share the talents, artistry, and stories of brilliant filmmakers.

The 5th edition of the festival is to be held on December 16-17, 2017, in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. It is currently underway.
